Sidewalk and Roadway Improvements in the Town of Dartmouth Bliss Corner Area - Phase IV. If plans/specifications are returned in good condition within one week from the date of bid opening refundable deposit will be returned. Plans and specifications may be mailed for an additional nonrefundable mailing fee of $50.00. Questions concerning this Invitation for Bid must be submitted in writing to: Rosa Tavares, Contract & Bidding Aide, 759 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth, MA, 02748 or at rtavares@town.dartmouth.ma.us before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023. BLISS CORNER AREA SIDEWALK AND ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE IV INCLUDES; Walsh Street - from near Rogers Street to dead end, Ashley Street- from near Cove Road to dead end, Bolton Road - Cove Road to dead end, Buttonwood Road - Cove Road to entrance of Hidden Bay and St. John Street - Cove Road to Jones Park. Works consists of 6,471 linear feet of new vertical granite curb (VGC) and 7,884 sq yds of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant cement concrete walkways and driveways.Work shall include but not be limited to, removal of existing curbing and sidewalks, installation of new cement concrete walkway, wheelchair ramps, granite curbing, street trees and all other work necessary to complete the work of this contract to create an ADA compliant pedestrian corridor within the project limits and to the satisfaction of the Engineer and as detailed on the plans.
