Renovation of a fire / police facility in Woburn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Rooftop installation of solar panels om New Fire Headquarters for the City of Woburn. Vendors must be DCAMM certified in Electrical. The project consists of the installation of photovoltaic system on the roofs of the Woburn Fire Headquarters and adjacent Support Building located at 731 Main Street, Woburn, MA 01801. Estimated cost of construction is $350,000 1. The existing PVC roofing system is comprised of the following: a. Continuous vapor retarder over roof deck. 1) Loose laid vapor retarder barrier installed over metal deck. 2) Self-sealing, peel and stick at concrete decks. b. Insulation - Rigid polyisocyanurate foam insulation having an aged R value of 5.7 per inch. Where roof decks are pitched to drain, insulation is 7 inches thick, except at crickets and transitions. At flat roof decks insulation is tapered 1/4 inch per foot, with a minimum average thickness of (7) inches. c. Cover Board - Over insulation, 1/2 inch thick with a glass mat/primed surface adhered to roof insulation. d. Deck Substrate - 1/2 " thick with a glass mat primed surface installed over metal roof deck to support A&VB. e. Adhered PVC membrane. Written questions deadline 3/30/23 by 5:00 P.M.
