Sealed bids for the above project will be received by City Clerk, Marinette City Hall, 1905 Hall Avenue, Marinette, WI 54143. The project consists of Concrete Construction. Estimated amounts of major construction items are as follows: 3,000 sq. ft. 4" Concrete Sidewalk 700 sq. ft. 6" Concrete Sidewalk 4,000 sq. ft. Concrete Removal 70 lin. ft. 24" Concrete Curb & Gutter 70 lin. ft. 30" Concrete Curb & Gutter 140 lin. ft. Remove Curb & Gutter 200 lin. ft. Saw Cut Asphalt 200 lin. ft. Saw Cut Concrete A single prime bid will be received for the work. BID SECURITY Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the Bid Deadline. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. QUALIFICATIONS Bidders shall pre-qualify by submitting a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility to the Owner five days prior to the Bid Deadline in accordance with Wis. Stat. 66.29(2). RIGHTS RESERVED The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in any bid, and/or to accept a bid most advantageous to the City, without further explanation.
