The Notice to Proceed will be issued as soon as the contract is executed by the City. The specified start date set by the Notice to Proceed will be approximately two weeks from the date of the Notice. The cost of mobilization/demobilization shall be incidental to the project and no additional compensation will be allowed to the contractor. The quantities herein represent the design estimate of the amount of work to be completed. Actual as-built quantities may vary from bid quantities. The Contractor shall be responsible for all survey and construction staking including subgrade, subbase, and pavement. The contractor shall begin construction on or before the date specified and complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment within 30 working days. Liquidated damages of $500.00/day shall be charged to the Contractor for each working day over the specified time.
The City of Davenport is requesting bids for the installation of the Emeis obstacle course. The City has already purchased the equipment and this bid is strictly for installation as described in the Specifications document.
Playground Installer Experience: Playground equipment shall be installed by a contractor with experience in the assembly and installation of the specified systems. The playground installer shall have at minimum one team member on-site trained and certified as a Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI).
