Site work and renovation of a civil project in Stony Point, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of the following: Coordinate with the Town of Stony Point STP Operator or his/her designate. Furnish and install two (2) clarifier systems including all excavation, structural concrete, piles and clarifier mechanisms. Furnish and install a splitter box/RAS well concrete structure including piles, grating, weir gates, telescopic valves and other valving. Furnish and install clarifier influent, effluent, sludge and scum piping. Modify the existing aeration basin effluent structure for the proposed clarifier piping. Install a Town supplied 18 inch shear gate valve. Furnish and install wiring and conduit to provide power to the clarifier units. Furnish and install a circuit breaker, wire, conduit and exterior lighting. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, utilities, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as specified in the Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the Bid, payable to the Town of Stony Point as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. The Town of Stony Point hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Owner. Bidders are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. A - 2 Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements relating to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and Executive Order 11246. Bidders are also required to comply with the provisions of Sections 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York and all other applicable laws and regulations. The Town of Stony Point hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
