Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Pembroke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The Town of Pembroke, Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Herring Run Culvert Replacement, Town of Pembroke, Massachusetts in accordance with the documents prepared by Environmental Partners Group. The Work under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, replacement of the existing Herring Run Culvert. The project will include: stream bypass and dewatering; erosion control measures; removal of the existing twin 36" CMP pipes and headwall; installation of precast concrete three-sided box culvert, headwalls, and wing walls; installation of a packed crushed stone access road; site restoration; and furnishing and installing all proposed items and necessary and incidental appurtenances to complete the work. Hard copies of addenda will not be mailed or faxed to plan holders. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to review any and all addenda prior to the bid opening online. Construction must be complete 120 calendar days from and including issuance of a notice to proceed, and/or receipt of fully executed contract. All proposed work at the culvert shall be sequenced as described in the Contract Drawings. All in-water work shall be completed within time of year restriction outlined in the project permits. Each bid shall also be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified, treasurer's or cashier's check, bid bond or cash in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the value of the Bid. Bid Security Deposit shall be at least five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, considering all alternates. Bid Bonds issued by a surety company must be uploaded with the other required forms. Bidders providing bid bonds in the form of cash or check must complete and upload the Bid Bond Affidavit Form. Wage rates for this project are subject to the minimum wage rates per M.G.L., Ch. 149, and Sections 26 to 27G, inclusive. Successful bidder must furnish 100 percent Construction Performance Bond and 100 percent Construction Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The bidding and award of the Contract shall be in full compliance with Sections 44A to 44J inclusive of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as last revised. Construction must be complete 120 calendar days
