The West Commercial Apron and SMAA Employee Parking Lot Relocation and Improvements Project at SRQ will encompass all improvements required to expand the terminal apron to accommodate three commercial aircraft hardstand parking positions for remain overnight parking and ground-boarding. Additionally, the adjacent SMAA employee parking lot will be expanded to provide additional vehicle parking. The project includes asphalt and concrete paving, airfield and parking lot markings, earthwork and grading, stormwater and drainage improvements, utilities modifications and improvements, installation and relocation of parking lot lighting an apron high mast lighting systems, CCTV systems, and relocation of jet blast defectors.
