Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Evanston, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of work consisted of locating and coring a total of twenty-five (25) full depth pavement cores, measuring the thickness of various layers and providing photographic documentation. The fieldwork consisted of locating and obtaining full depth pavement cores at twenty-five (25) locations. Pavement core locations were selected based on general guidelines provided by City of Evanston. The approximate location of the cores is presented on the attached Pavement Core Location Maps in Appendix A. All cores were taken between 3 and 8 feet from the curb at the addresses indicated in Table 1 - Pavement Core Thickness, in Appendix A of this report. The core locations were marked in the field by INTERRA. Prior to coring, underground utilities were cleared by the coring sub-contractor Geocon Professional Services (GEOCON). INTERRA posted "No Parking" signs where necessary, 48 hours before scheduled coring. During the coring operations, traffic control and protection, as needed was provided by GEOCON. Work on this project includes the resurfacing of various streets with minor utility repairs, ADA Ramps, concrete curb and sidewalk replacement and all incidental work including all materials and equipment. Bidders must be pre-qualified by Illinois Department of Transportation and present IDOT issued Certificate of Eligibility" with proposal. The City of Evanston (the City) in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that the contract(s) entered into pursuant to this Notice will be awarded to the successful Bidders without discrimination on the ground of race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, familial status or national origin. The State of Illinois requires under Public Works contracts that the general prevailing rate of wages in this locality be paid for each craft or type of worker hereunder. This requirement is in accordance with The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) as amended. The City of Evanston reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to accept the submittal(s) deemed most advantageous to the City.
