The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, supplies, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform the services as described herein The project consists of installing and providing a new Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) System located at the Holbert Building - 9104 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, Virginia 22553, with the following system requirements: o 40KVA/40KW UPS with extra battery capacity for runtime close to an hour o UPS wired with dual input feeds o UPS to communicate with existing LAN connection and external monitoring solution (cellular) o Installation of UPS with required circuit breakers to allow a maintenance bypass o "Live" cutover support for electrical dependencies to the new UPS, prior to decommissioning of the old unit o Removal and disposal of old UPS unit including the internal batteries o Ability & Resources to support 24/7 emergency system support o Ability & Resources to support at minimum at least 2 preventive maintenance tasks per year on the provided unit o ATS Testing and Maintenance through the first year with option to renew o All engineering is performed to ensure the current systems can fit inside the buildings current wiring Questions from Offerors must be received by the Spotsylvania County Procurement Division by August 29, 2023 at noon. Questions must be emailed to Tina Owens, Procurement Officer Any contract(s) resulting from this RFP shall have a term limit of three (3) years and may be renewable for three (3) additional one (1) year terms at the option of Spotsylvania County. The Consultant shall defend all suits or claims for infringement of any patent rights or any other proprietary rights arising from or related to performance of the resulting contract and shall save Spotsylvania County harmless from any and all loss, including reasonable attorneys' fees, on account thereof.
