Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint John, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

sealed Bids for the LCHS Freshman Center HVAC Improvements will be received by Lake Central School Corporation. Work shall be performed under one Unified Contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to waive any informalities or errors in bidding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. Bid Security shall be in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total price and delivered in a sealed envelope showing the Bidder's name and address. Bidder receiving the award shall furnish an approved one hundred and ten percent (110%) Performance Bond and a one hundred and ten percent (110%) Labor and Materials Payment Bond which cover faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of ail obligations arising thereunder. Said bonds shall remain in full force and effect for twelve (12) months from the date of acceptance of the Work. The Contract to which the Owner will be a party will contain a provision prohibiting the other party to the Contract, and their subcontractors, from engaging in employment practice that constitutes a discrimination against a person because of the person's race, color, sex, religion, national origin or ancestry. The Contractor shall provide an affidavit with each billing, assuring the Owner that this provision has not been violated. Construction shall be in full accord with Drawings and Specifications. Procurement Documents are obtainable from the printing company listed below for a deposit of $100/set payable to the Owner, which will be refunded when documents are returned in good condition, within seven (7) days after the bid opening. There is a limit of three (3) sets per Bidder, one (1) set per sub bidder and supplier, under the refundable policy. Additional sets may be purchased at non-refundable printing costs. A non-refundable fee will be added for postage when necessary. Project is ESSER funded with Davis-Bacon requirements. Work is primarily related to air quality improvement and includes replacement of air handlers and new roof top units with associated electrical improvements. Other Work indicated in the Contract Documents includes new roof openings, new piping and new above ceiling fan coil units. Classroom acoustical ceilings and portions of Corridor ceilings will be replaced. Project Location: 8260 Wicker Avenue, St. John, IN 46373.
