The Contract Consists of These Units: 8-inch Gravity Sanitary Sewer 500 Lineal Feet 10-inch Water Main 500 Lineal Feet Street Construction 2,200 Square Yards 30-inch Concrete Curb & Gutter 950 Lineal Feet Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement 1,000 Tons Earthwork 33,000 Cubic Yards. Bidders Must Be Pre-qualified With the City of Jefferson Within the Last Year or Must Be Pre-qualified for This Work 5 Days Prior to the Bid Deadline in Accordance With Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each Bidder Must Deposit, With His Bid, Security in the Amount of 5% of the Maximum Bid Amount. Bidders Must Be Experienced in Municipal Pipeline Construction. The City of Jefferson Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Informalities in Any Bid. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing Summary of the Work; Special Conditions located at the beginning of the Technical Specifications, modifies or supplements the Bidding Documents, the General Conditions, or the standard specification sections which make up the remainder of the Technical Specifications, and defines what work is included under each item in the Bid Proposal. This section should be read with care. The sites of the work should also be carefully inspected. Each of the standard specification sections of the Technical Specifications is divided into three parts: General, summarizing the work covered by that section, Material & Equipment, where applicable, which provides the specifications for the materials which go into the construction, and Construction, where applicable, which sets forth construction and testing procedures to which the Contractor must adhere. When submitting a bid each bidder must submit the completed Bid Proposal, Affidavit of Organization & Authority and the Bid Security.
