The City of Grand Haven isrequesting Bids for the construction of the Mulligan's Hollow Basketball Court and Parking Improvements. The project islocated at 1 Mulligan Drive, Grand Haven, MI 49417. The Project includes full removal of existing parking lot and development of new accessible parking/site access, construction of basketball courts, and associated site furnishings. Land and Water Conservation Fund grant funding is being used for the project and relevant State or Federal requirements apply. The Contractor and all Sub-Contractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), and Executive Directive 2019-09, as amended. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Sealed bids bearing the Project name as well as the name and address of the bidder shall be submitted to Linda Browand, City Clerk at 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417. No preference will be given to local vendors or contractors. Award of the contract will adhere to State purchasing requirements. There is no fee for registration on the plan holder's list and download of electronic bidding documents. Hard copies will not be available for this Project. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding or accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner.
