The City of Newport News Public Works is seeking a contractor to furnish/provide varies door hardware and accessories listed on pricing table in section 5 of solicitation. Preferred manufacturers are listed below but substitutions are allowed. 1. AASC 2. CECO 3. MCKINNEY 4. YALE 5. PEMKO 6. USA WOOD DOORS 7. ROCKWOOD 8. TOTAL DOOR 9. WALKER Similar items, other than the ones explicitly listed in this RFQ, may be required during the term of the Contract. Bidders should list all manufacturers whose catalog of similar type items they can offer, and the minimum discount off list price that can be offered. This information should be provided under item 14, Section 6 - Vendor Questionnaire Section. This information is for indicative purposes only and will not be considered in the determination for award. Additional items purchased through this Contract would reasonably be considered as any equipment, tools and supplies for door hardware and accessories for the department. Note: The items specified in this RFQ are not intended to restrict Bidders. Bidders are encouraged to propose products which meet or exceed the listed specifications. Bidder shall clearly and specifically identify the product being offered and the alternate manufacturer's name in the space provided on the Bid Table, under Item 15, Section 6 - Vendor Questionnaire Section, to enable the City to determine if the product offered meets the requirements of the solicitation.
