Renovation of a mixed-use development in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
All questions shall be submitted in writing directly to WCSD's Solicitations website at http://solicitations.washoeschools.net/ or via e-mail to solicitations@washoeschools.net by 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on March 27, 2023. Scope of Work: Project includes replacement of the emergency responder radio communication systems (ERRCS) at 5 schools (Kendyl Depoali Middle School, Yvonne Shaw Middle School, North Valleys High School, Edward High School, Spanish Springs High School). Existing ERRCS at each school shall be removed including antennas, equipment and cabling. The existing radio systems must remain operational until the new radio systems are installed and fully operational. Project includes the design, installation, testing and certification of a new ERRCS at each school in accordance with the 2018 International Fire Code and 2022 NFPA 1225. The new ERRCS will communicate and be compatible with the Washoe County Regional Communication System (WCRCS). Contractor shall submit a deferred permit submittal to the local Fire Code Official for review, approval and permit.
