The Village of Sleepy Hollow is seeking proposals from consulting firms qualified to assist in the creation of a single Climate Action Plan document with three distinct sections: 1) Government Operations Climate Action Plan; 2) Community Climate Action Plan and 3) Climate Adaptation. The Climate Action Plan will address and determine the community's priorities, be forward thinking and will be developed in a way that fosters economic development, protects the Village's natural assets and preserves the community character. It will integrate the expansion of the village's population and built assets resulting from the development of the waterfront including the Edge-on-Hudson mixed-use development, Sleepy Hollow Common recreational facilities and the anticipated redevelopment of the current Department of Public Works garage upon that garage's relocation. Providing a roadmap to climate change mitigation, the Climate Action Plan will support a resilient community through ambitious goals and implementation measures that include emerging and innovative technologies as well as what is available now. Firms interested in submitting a proposal are encouraged to advise Fiona Matthew at fiona@fionacompany.com of their intention to do so. Questions and their responses will be emailed to all firms who have indicated an interest. The Village reserves the right, in its sole discretion to reject all submissions, reissue a subsequent RFP, terminate, restructure or amend this procurement process at any time. The final selection and agreement negotiation rests solely with the Village. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
