DESCRIPTION: The 17th Contracting Squadron at Goodfellow AFB, TX, is issuing a solicitation for two (2) boiler replacements at Building 520. The project consists of the Contractor entirely removing, disposing, and replacing the forced draft, gas-fired, heating water, AJAX boiler, Model # WRFG-2100, and installing one (1) new carbon monoxide (CO) monitor integrated into the new boiler onboard controls. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This RFQ will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract and will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation requirements and is the most advantageous to the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, and the small business size standard is no greater than $19 million.
