Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Fort Pierce, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

Reconfigure Taxiways E, C4, C5, and Related Work Bid Bond 5% All Bidders are required to submit a five percent (5%) Bid Bond with the Bid Form or their bid shall be rejected as non-responsive. A one hundred percent (100%) Public Construction Bond is required upon notification of St. Lucie County's intention to award the contract to the apparent successful bidder. A 1.36% DBE participation is required for this bid, if the total proposed DBE participation is less than the established DBE goal, Bidder must provide written documentation of the good faith efforts as required by 49 CFR Part 26, or their bid shall be rejected as non-responsive. Submit all questions about the Drawings and Specifications to the Purchasing Department in writing via facsimile or email (email preferred). Replies will be issued to all bidders of record as Addenda to the Drawings and Specifications and will become part of the Contract. The County will not be responsible for oral clarification. Questions received less than ten (10) days before bid opening cannot be answered. Question Deadline 04/02/2023 Taxiway C4 and Taxiway E (partial) are connectors to Runway 14-32. As shown in the 2018 ALP for Treasure Coast International Airport, the taxiway connector, Taxiway E between Taxiway C and Taxiway B (on both sides of Runway 14-32) will be removed and realigned to conform with current standards. Additionally, non-conforming pavements shall be removed including Taxiway C4 between TW C and Runway 14-32, Taxiway C5 and Taxiway E between Taxiway A and Runway 10R-28L. The Airport Reference Code for FPR is C-III (existing and proposed per Airport Layout Plan). The critical aircraft is proposed to be Boeing 737-700W. The base bid of the project will consist of full depth removal of: TW C4 between TW C and Runway 14-32; TW C5 between apron and TW C; TW E between TW C and TW B; Taxiway E between Taxiway A and Runway 28L. Additionally, the base bid includes full depth construction of TW E between TW C and TW B including related work consisting of, but not limited to, mill and overlay of existing pavement tie-ins, safety area/object free area grading, edge light and airfield signage modifications, and new pavement markings.
