University of Quebec in Montreal hereinafter named the Owner, having its head office at 1430, rue Saint-Denis, H2X 3J8, Montreal, Quebec, requests tenders for professional services in architecture in order to select a firm of professionals to carry out, on request, specialized services in the envelope of existing buildings. These are various specific Projects concerning inspections, security work and renovation work on the exterior envelopes of various pavilions (e.g. exterior facades, windows, roofs, doors, etc.), carried out on request during the contract period of five. The Contract resulting from this notice of call for tenders includes two renewal options of 1 year each which can be added to the basic contractual duration which is 2 years for a maximum duration of the contract of 4 years. In order to restrict travel, ensure social distancing and limit the exchange of equipment, the Owner strongly suggests that Bidders use electronic submission of a bid. Filing a paper bid is more risky from a virus-spreading perspective. The Bidder must also provide for delivery times by post or by courier which are higher than in normal times. It is his responsibility to take the necessary precautions to respect the deadline dates and times for submitting a bid.
