Asphalt Overlay 2023- Road and Bridge The Road and Bridge Department is soliciting bids for an Asphalt Overlay for County Road 140, Chaffee County Colorado. County Road 140 -2" overlay 1 mile long by 34 feet wide, widening both driving lanes 5 feet to accommodate bicycle and pedestrian traffic from CR 144 - 146. 2" overlay 0.25 miles long by 24' wide, from CR 144 - 141. (Approximately 3000 tons). Quantities subject to change due to budgetary reasons. Quantities subject to change due to budgetary reasons. Note: Contractor supplies lay down machine, compaction equipment, tack oil, distributer truck and crew. County will provide hot asphalt material, delivery and traffic control. The County has scheduled for the work to be performed during July and August 2023. Questions regarding this RFP's specifications should be directed to Mark Stacy at 719.539.4591. All proposals and material shall be kept confidential until proposal opening, at which time they will become subject to public disclosure.
