Work will primarily consist of annual window cleaning for interior and exterior windows and screens for Housing and Ancillary Services buildings located on Main Campus, West Campus and off-campus locations. Services may be added for additional Queen's buildings as required. Additional Details: All work to be completed annually between May and Mid- August during regular business hours, 8am to 4pm, Monday-Friday or as mutually agreed with Manager - Residence Facilities. Contractor will provide all labour, materials, equipment and supervision required to complete the work to the satisfaction of the owner and in accordance with generally accepted industry standards and Health and Safety practices. Removal, cleaning and reinstallation of all interior and exterior screens (if applicable). Removal, cleaning and reinstallation of all interior and exterior windows, frames and sills. The contractor will remove windows and screens that require repair, labeling with room number and building - to be reported daily. After cleaning work is complete by building or otherwise specified areas, the contactor will notify the Facilities Control Centre. Residence staff will conduct a final inspection and verify the work is complete. Windows, screens, or sash balancers, which are broken during cleaning, will be the responsibility of the contractor to repair at their own expense.
