SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work for this solicitation includes providing integrated Program Management, including program management, analysis, planning, permitting, design and construction services for select projects identified in JEA's five-year District Energy System (DES) Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) as amended from time to time, as well as O&M tasks as identified with the life of the contract. JEA is seeking responses from qualified management teams to provide these services on an as-needed basis. Additional information can be found in Appendix A - Scope of Services BACKGROUND JEA owns, operates and manages the electric system established by the City of Jacksonville, Florida since 1895. In June 1997, JEA also assumed operation of the water and sewer system previously managed by the City. JEA is located in Jacksonville, Florida, where we proudly serve an estimated 478,000 electric, 357,000 water, 279,000 sewer customers and 15,000 reclaimed water customers. JEA is Florida's largest community owned utility and the eighth largest municipal in the United States.
