Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a 4,133-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The Owner is developing a WWTP UV disinfection project, which includes the implementation of a new UV Disinfection Facility at the Aquatera WWTP to meet effluent quality of less than or equal to 200 CFU/100 mL fecal coliforms prior to discharge. The facility is to meet design flows of 65 MLD, and include disinfection of the effluent wastewater downstream of the secondary treatment process, including secondary clarifiers and final effluent lagoon. The scope of the project includes a new standalone building located on the Aquatera WWTP site. This contract is for the supply of the UV Disinfection equipment and system. The full scope of equipment supply includes the design, manufacture, delivery, supervision of installation, testing and commissioning of the new UV Disinfection system. It is expected that during the design phase of this project Aquatera will issue a purchase order and provide payment for shop drawings release. The remaining scope of supply will be novated to a General Contractor once the successful proponent is selected.
