Site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
This project renovates Mechanical Room C-1043 and relocates the fire protection equipment from C-1031 into room C-1036. Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical upgrades to adjacent areas of the C Concourse are also part of this project and will require ceiling work in those areas. Mechanical scope includes HVAC piping and ductwork, steam, fire protection, and plumbing. Demolition scope includes the removal of pumps, steam piping and equipment, ductwork, Air Handling Unit, domestic water piping, sanitary and recirculating pump. New installation includes new VAVs, pumps, Air Handling Unit, mechanical piping, finned-tube radiation, steam heat exchangers, unit heaters, ductwork and fans. New plumbing work includes underground sanitary, domestic water piping, recirculating pumps, balancing valve, floor sinks, floor drains, and plumbing fixtures. Electrical work includes power, lighting and telecommunications systems. This project requires work to provide temporary power and data to remote trailers for the temporary relocation of tenants during the phased construction. Temporary trailers will be located adjacent to Gate C3 and east of Gate G22. The goal of the MAC for the utilization of Targeted Group Businesses on this project is 7%.
