ODOT, on behalf of the Oregon Department of Aviation, is seeking one qualified contractor to perform clearing and tree removal at the Mulino Airport. See attachments for additional information. The Oregon Department of Aviation encourages all Bidders to take active race/gender neutral steps to include disadvantaged business enterprises ("DBE") in this and other airport contracts. Race/gender neutral steps include (but are not limited to) unbundling large contracts, subcontracting work the prime contractor may otherwise self-perform, providing bonding or financing assistance, and providing technical assistance. The DBE contract goal for this project is 3.4%. PROJECT START DATE (for onsite work): 10 calendar days after ODAV's issuance of Notice to Proceed SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: 60 calendar days after ODAV's issuance of Notice to Proceed FINAL COMPLETION: 75 calendar days after ODAV's issuance of Notice to Proceed Deadline for questions or requests for clarification - 5 calendar days prior to the Bid Opening Deadline for Award protest - 5 calendar days after issuance of the notice of intent to award. Posting of Intent to Award - Within 5 Business Days after the Bid Opening Date identified electronically ODOT and ODAV reserve the right to delete Bid items. The deletion of one or more Bid items will not affect the method of award. ODOT may reject all Offers for good cause upon its finding that it is in the public interest to do so. ODOT may reject a particular Offer for any of the reasons listed under OAR 137-049-0440. The scope of work for the Obstruction Removal project includes, but is not limited to, the
following:
a. Clear and chip vegetation.
b. Remove trees, chip limbs, and stack bucked wood on Airport Property.
c. Selectively remove or top trees on properties that have an easement
