Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sheridan, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

ONSTRUCTION SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) EHRM NEXT GEN WIFI Sheridan, WY 666-21-704 1. GENERAL INTENT: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to support installation of replacement and new WiFi Access Points (AP) that is being done by another OIT contract at the Sheridan WY campus located at 1989 Fort Road, Sheridan WY 82801. There will also be work at the Sheridan VA Water Filtration Plant, Sheridan s Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC s) and other Centers. The addresses follow: Water Filtration Plant: Soldier Creek Rd, Sheridan, WY 82801 Afton CBOC: 125 South Washington Street, Afton, WY 83110 Casper VetCenter: 1030 N Poplar St, Casper, WY 82601 Riverton CBOC: 2300 Rose Lane, Riverton, WY 82501 Worland PCTOC: 510 South 15th Street, Worland, WY 82401 The AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor is the OIT contractor and is responsible for the bulk of the cabling and Access Point Device installation work under a separate OI&T contract. Please note that the scope of this work is limited and specifically as listed below and in SOW Attachment 1. 2. STATEMENT OF WORK: Provide and install conduit, raceways, seal horizontal and vertical penetrations, set up infection control to meet the ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment), install fire stopping systems and other work to support NextGen WiFi Contractor s installation on the Sheridan WY, VA campus as shown and described in the project drawings, specifications, and this SOW. A list of required conduit paths and a description of work are provided in SOW Attachment 1. The drawings show the floor plans of the buildings, and the locations of APs. Work shall include: Installation of 48 conduit paths installed by the Contractor. This includes all components for a complete functioning system such as hangers, gang boxes for the mounting of Access Point (AP) devices, etc... All conduit ends shall be terminated so there are no rough edges. Installation of 11 Angle brackets for mounting of the Access AP devices. AP devices shall be provided by the VA or the NextGen WiFi Contractor, but the horizontal mounting brackets shall be provided and installed by the Contractor. Mounting Brackets shall be installed so that there is no exposed wire showing which may require minor modification of the Mounting Bracket. See Submittal Requirements in Paragraph 3.1. Other estimated quantities are in the Table below. The cumulative total of each column is considered accurate within +/- 20%. The Contractor shall field verify and notify the CO in writing with proof if quantities vary from what is shown below before the work is started. Any work done beyond what is shown by this SOW, Drawings and Specifications will be done at the Contractor own risk. No change in contract will be considered by the Government if the cumulative total of each column is within +/- 20%. The Contractor shall seal penetration caused by the installation of wire pathways and cabling of the AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor. The Contractor shall seal all wall penetrations. Rated walls shall be sealed with fire stopping systems. Existing conduit paths between floors/IT rooms will not have the capacity for more cable and new conduit paths will need to be created. Note that tools and materials on the VA campus and buildings can never be left unattended and must be either in use or locked up. 3. The Contractor shall install 48 CAT 6A plenum rated cable runs from APs to nearest IT rooms and terminating in a patch panel. The AP side must have an RJ45 plug so that AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor can mount the APs and just plug in. The Sheridan VA is planning to soon relocate wiring closets, so additional lengths of Cat 6a cable are in the contract to accommodate this future change. 4. There are 158 pathways at the Sheridan VAMC plus 51 at the CBOC s and the Water Filtration Plant that the AT&T NexGen WiFi will be installing. The Contractor will install infection dust control barriers, remove ceilings, provide negative air and other work in advance for AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor according to the Infection Control Risk Assessment ICRAs shown in the matrix of Attachment 1. The AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor will perform their work during the period of 10/3/22 10/28/22. The Contractor will coordinate with AT&T NextGen WiFi Contract Manager and make a schedule to prepare the work areas in advance, so the area is ready for the AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor to install their cable and pathways. Upon completion of AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor s work, then the Contractor will seal all wall and floor/ceiling penetrations, install Fire Stopping systems in fire rated walls, replace ceiling panels, reclip fire rated ceiling panels, paint and patch and other work needed to restore what the AT&T NextGen opened to do their work. Penetrations between floors in all buildings are to have Fire Stopping systems. Walls into Wire Closets are rated walls. Where cabling sags or touches ceiling panels, then the Contractor must install J-hooks to prevent this from happening. Each work area will be cleaned up by the Contractor in accordance with the IRCA requirements as well as remove barricades and equipment from work area. The Contractor shall also use Asbestos methods of construction as per specifications should asbestos be encountered in locations identified in the Sheridan VAMC - 2019 Asbestos Management Operations Plan as containing asbestos. The Sheridan VAMC - 2019 Asbestos Management Operations Plan has been included in the SOW Attachments. Any ceiling tile damaged by the Contractor or AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor will be replaced by the Contractor. The Ceiling Type and Rated Wall documents have been included in the SOW Attachments. Recommend Offerors verify field conditions and make necessary measurements to confirm distances in a pre-bid site walk. Scales drawings are in the Ceiling Type documents for Sheridan. All work will be performed during business hours, Monday thru Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM unless written permission has been granted by the CO for special hours to accommodate Medical Center Operations or the AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor. 3. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 3.1 Work timelines and completion progress shall be communicated to the COR for tracking and coordinating purposes. A Work described in Section 2 shall be completed by 60 Days from issuance of notice to proceed..A The AT&T NextGen WiFi Contractor was scheduled for Oct 3rd through Oct 28th, 2022. The asbestos abatement, conduit work shall be completed prior to the AP install date.A 4. SUBMITTALS: The Contractor shall submit the following submittals for review: Product data and sample as required by each specification sections including conduits or raceways, J-hooks and other cable holding devices, cabling, cabling ends, all fasteners, protective bushings, fire stopping systems and brackets. Submit details for VA approval on how the brackets are to be installed and modified per each possible configuration. The brackets - wall are the ATS-APLBKT-COV-UNIV1. Submit details for VA approval on how the conduit will be terminated in Bldg 2, floor 1 to minimize damage to historical ceiling. Submit other installations details as called out in SOW Attachment 1. The exact mounting height of the horizontal bracket mount is to be determined by AT&T but can be assumed to be within 24 of the suspended ceiling. As-built drawings for all data locations and labels. The Contractor shall provide the central drawing set to the Owner at the end of the project. The marked-up drawing set will accurately depict the as-built status of the system. The above paragraphs constitute a basic outline of the work to be accomplished and in no way comprises all the details for this project. Contractor shall refer to drawings and specifications for comprehensive construction requirements. End of SOW Project magnitude: between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
