Bonnechere Manor is requesting proposals for replacement of our existing portable phones. The portable phones are linked to our Austico nurse call system and existing base phones. Design and build services to incorporate a portable in house communication device that can work with an existing in-house base phones as well as independently. The portable communication devices will be able to make and receive calls from other users, as well as to receive signals for service from the nurse call system indicating the location of the call for service. Portable communication devices are assigned to resident home areas (RHAs) and will be capable of receiving signals from the nurse call for that RHA. Devices need to be a robust design, capable of handling rough service. Where possible, they need to be waterproof to the extent that they can survive an accidental submersion in water. The new system will be capable of operating a minimum of 60 devices with the ability for expansion if needed. Contractors must register for the site visit by contacting David F. Norton, Environmental Services Supervisor at dfnorton@countyofrenfrew.on.ca. Proponents will be shown the job site and given a tender package. Due to the current pandemic, all persons visiting Bonnechere Manor for this RFP will be required to have proof of two vaccinations and a negative rapid test (to be completed on site and will take approximately 15 minutes) for COVID-19 before being granted access to the building. Bonnechere Manor will supply a medical grade mask that is to be worn by all persons at all times. This same requirement will be applied to the successful bidder of this RFT for all work done on Bonnechere Manor Property. Project to commence: June, 2023
