** As of August 12, 2025 project not yet awarded** The Green Hill Softball Field at Daniel Hand High School, located at 286 Green Hill Road, currently exists as a synthetic playing field. Kaestle and Boos Associates (KBA) was retained to design the replacement of the existing synthetic playing surface at the field. This project includes the replacement of the existing synthetic turf playing surface of the Green Hill Softball Field which has reached the end of its useful life and repairs to the existing perimeter fence. Work generally includes Removal of existing synthetic turf and infill and installation of new synthetic turf & infill, minor grading and fence repair. The Town of Madison (hereinafter "Town") and Madison Public Schools (hereinafter "MPS") is seeking qualified contractor bids for the replacement of the synthetic turf for Green Hill Softball Field at Daniel Hand High School, 286 Green Hill Road, Madison CT 06443. A Bid Bond/Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the contract value must be supplied with all bids in order to be considered. Payment (Labor and Materials) and Performance Bonds will be required for the full contract amount. The Town of Madison and Madison Public Schools are exempt from Connecticut Sales Tax.
