For the improvement of a certain sections of State Route 1012, Section 370 and Section D50 in Luzerne County, Jackson Township. The locations of these two projects are as follows: For Sec 370, from a point 1.04 miles north of the intersection of SR 0029 at Segment 0020 Offset 2432 (STA 53+00) to a point 1.12 miles north of the intersection of SR 0029 at Segment 0020 Offset 2982 (STA 58+50), with a total work area length of 430.00 feet (0.081 miles). For Sec D50, from a point 2.30 miles north of the intersection of SR 0029 at Segment 0050 Offset 1964 (STA 9+35) to a point 2.38 miles north of the intersection of SR 0029 at Segment 0050 Offset 2508 (STA 14+78), with a total work area length of 443.00 feet (0.084 miles). The project involves the replacement of an existing stone masonry arch culvert carrying SR 1012 Section 370 over Drakes Creek and the replacement of an existing concrete slab bridge carrying SR 1012 Section D50 over Drakes Creek. The proposed structures are precast concrete box culverts. Traffic will be maintained with a temporary detour. Additional work includes excavation, full depth bituminous paving bridge approaches, new guiderail, drainage, E & S control measures, detour signing, driveway adjustment, permanent signing, pavement markings and other miscellaneous construction work.
