The major work items are described as follows. Repair Roofing - Centennial Correctional Facility Tower A Demolition: At the areas indicated on the Roof Plan, remove the existing EPDM roofing in 6" strips 8' on center. Leave the existing insulation in place. Install a new cover board layer of 1/2 " OSB sheathing over the existing foam insulation. Secure cover board with low rise foam adhesive. Install an adhered white 60 mil EPDM fire rated membrane over the top of the cover board. Install new cured and uncured EPDM flashings. Provide new sheet metal flashings and counterflashings. Provide a written 10-year warranty covering the new roofing material and labor in a leak free state at a no-dollar limit. Also provide a two-year roofing contractors warranty covering the new roof in a watertight state.
