This is the final round of bidding for this project. Prospective bidders are to submit proposals on their own proposal forms by the requested due date. Please acknowledge all clarifications and addenda in your proposals. This is Meyer Najem's project. This project is tax exempt and does not have any prevailing wage requirements. An add for a performance and payment bond may be requested following your proposal, but is not required for submission. Bid day for this project is 30 March 2023, disregard the date listed in spec section 00 11 13. This project is scheduled to begin in May of 2023 and end in May of 2024. Once we have a preliminary construction schedule, it will be posted under the general documents. Meyer Najem will be the Construction Manage for the New Fire Station No 1. We will also oversee the site work for Area A, B, and C. When submitting bids for site work (i.e. site excavation, site concrete, asphalt paving, landscaping, etc.), please include all three areas in your proposal. New Fire Station No. 1: In summary, the project includes the construction of a new, approximately 21,000 s.f., fire station building. The building is a two storied structure with no basement and includes wood framing on concrete foundations and spread footings. The apparatus Bay area will be steel framed on concrete spread footings. The interior includes wood framing and masonry walls and associated finishes. The exterior is masonry with an insulated single ply roof system on wood deck. The Project includes architecture, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems. North Broadway Municipal Complex: In summary, the project includes the site development of approximately 10-acre parcel of land. The site development includes a new access drive and site development associated with the new Fire Station No. and the new Street and Sanitation Department facility. Site development includes asphalt and concrete drives, concrete walks, landscaping, water, sanitary and storm service management and other associated components. The Project includes site development, civil engineering and landscape architecture systems. *Addendum 1 has been posted.
