Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Markham, Ontario. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Victoria Square Boulevard (formerly Woodbine Avenue prior to the construction of the Woodbine Bypass, which is now referred to as Woodbine Avenue), is a 2-lane rural roadway with a posted speed limit of 50km/h. Existing land use in the area consists mainly of low rise residential with small pockets of low rise mixed-use around the south connection with Woodbine Avenue, and mid-rise residential around the Cathedral Town Precinct. The project involves roadway and boulevard improvements to approximately 1.7km of Victoria Square Boulevard between Woodbine Avenue south and Elgin Mills Road. The city is soliciting Bids from prequalified contractors only for the Victoria Square Boulevard - Phase 1 road improvement construction project. Only Contractors that have been pre-qualified under RFPQ # 055-P-24 will be eligible to submit a Bid in response to this Request for Tender.
