Site work for a transportation facility in Petersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The work to be bid upon is generally described as follows: Contract No. 1 - Install Weather Reporting Equipment The scope of the project is to install new Automated Weather Observing System III P (AWOS) components at the Grant County Airport located outside of Petersburg, West Virginia. The installation will consist of removing all of the existing AWOS components and installation of new components on the existing infrastructure. Additive Alternate No. 1 will include a fence rehabilitation which will consist of painting the existing perimeter fence, installation of new posts, and adjusting the existing gate. The project will also include mobilization and any other appurtenances required. No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other pre-bid documents will be made orally to any bidder. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 7 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect
