Scope of Services San Diego State University (University) is requesting proposals from firms qualified to provide Full-Service Campus-Wide Vertical Transportation Maintenance. The proposals will be evaluated by a committee selected by the University and the award will be made in the best interest of the University. Other Details The service provided by the Contractor shall be for full maintenance of the elevator and escalator equipment at the subject property, as well as stage lifts, wheelchair lifts, dumbwaiters, or any other equipment similar to elevator equipment and governed by elevator authority. All maintenance is to be performed according to industry standard, as well as all applicable elevator codes as modified by local jurisdictional authority, as well as any other code, law or regulation by any authority having jurisdiction on or related to the elevator or escalator equipment at the subject property. Notes Contractor shall maintain a written Maintenance Control Program (MCP) which shall comply with requirements of all applicable codes. The MCP shall specify examinations, tests, cleaning, lubrication and adjustments to applicable components at regular intervals. Contractor shall provide a copy of the MCP to University and shall update the University's copy whenever changes to the MCP occur.
