Site work for a civil project in Lac La Biche, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work shall include the supply and installation of a new bridge culvert structure over a Watercourse, located 28 km southwest of Lac La Biche (NE 17-66-15-W4M). The Contractor shall install 2 - 2.0 m diameter Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) culverts by 24 m invert lengths as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culverts will be located on square to the local road, centred at Stations 5+547.000 and 5+551.000. The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Traffic accommodation - Site isolation and turbidity monitoring - Fish capture and release - Salvage of existing bridge material - Demolition and disposal of bridge structures - Excavation, including geotextile filter fabric - Supply and assembly of culvert materials - Backfill, including backfill material testing - Heavy rock riprap erosion protection - Roadway work - Permanent environmental protection devices Documents can be obtained from https://buildworkscanada.com Award is subject to final approval.
