The University is requesting bids for a qualified Contractor to perform interior painting and minor drywall repair of designated corridors, stairwells, classrooms and office spaces on all three floors of Perdue Hall as indicated in the specifications and drawings. The University is to provide the paint needed to complete the project. Project Cost Class B - $100,000 to $500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Question Deadline 03/28/2023 at 3:00 PM ET PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Salisbury University is located at 1101 Camden Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801. B. Perdue Hall is a three story, 112,762 gross square feet masonry veneer, steel frame structure. The building contains labs, lecture rooms and offices for the Perdue School of Business. The building is normally locked down, and SU issued access cards are required to enter the building. C. The project involves work on all three floors. Some wall attachments will stay in place and will need protecting by masking or other means. See photographs at the end of this section to help understand the extent of protection that will be required. The Contractor is required to move any furniture item needed to be moved; and replace once work in the room is completed. D. Salisbury University will provide the paint to be used. Where additional paint is required, Contractor to give SU five weekdays notice. E. With the exception of Monday July 3 and Tuesday July 4, on-site GC work to occur weekdays between Tuesday May 30, and Friday July 28, 2023; for a total of 42 working days F. Work in each room to take no longer than three (3) days; five (5) days in the main corridors. Contractor to produce a schedule showing when each room will be worked on, and submit to SU for approval.
