NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Yuma County Jail District is accepting proposals for furnishing
all labor, materials, equipment, consulting services, fees, and taxes necessary to complete Project Number
#22-200-18a, Consulting Service for Security System Upgrade to include: Offerors qualified,
responsible, and willing to provide Consulting services that define the needs of the Sheriff's Office Adult
Detention Complex located at 200 W. Court Street, Yuma, Arizona for an improved effective and fully
integrated security electronics system in compliance with all solicitation specifications and requirements
contained or referenced herein. A background check will be required on all personnel entering the facility
and/or properties one (1) week prior to mandatory site visit March 29, 2023, at 1pm (local time).
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Work consists of design, coordination, cost estimating and assisting in
construction administration for improvements/replacements to the security system upgrade per
specifications called for herein.
As defined in the Instructions to Offerors, in accordance with all solicitation documents, including a
sample of the contract, either referenced or included herein. Failure to do so may be cause for District to
reject a proposal as non-responsive.
Offerors must complete those forms identified in Instructions to Offerors, Section 2, Proposal
Documents; and submit those documents in accordance with Section 3. Proposal Submission
Requirements.
Offerors may not withdraw proposals for Fifty (50) days after opening except as allowed.
Bonds are not required.
OFFERORS ARE REQUIRED TO READ THE ENTIRE SOLICITATION, INCLUDING ALL
REFERENCED DOCUMENTS, ASSURE THAT THEY ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO COMPLY,
AND TO INCORPORATE ALL ASSOCIATED COSTS IN THEIR PROPOSAL.
All submittals must reference the Solicitation Number and Title. District nor its representative may not
answer any Questions that Offerors submit within eight (8) calendar days of the Bid due date and time on
April 3, 2023, at 12pm (Local Time).
