The Contractor will obtain, provide, perform, and/or furnish the following: Mattress and Box Spring Recycling Services 1. The Contractor will accept all mattresses and box springs collected at the Larimer County Landfill for final disposal or recycling. 2. The Contractor is responsible for offloading all mattresses and box springs delivered. 2.1. Larimer County staff will load the 53' dry van trailer located at Larimer County Landfill. 2.2. Trailer must be in good condition with no holes or splinters on the floor or side walls. 3. The Contractor will ensure that all materials received are disposed of in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste disposal. Transportation and Trailer 4. The Contractor will provide a 53' dry van trailer, which will be left at the landfill to be filled with mattresses and box springs by landfill staff. 4.1. Location of Larimer County Landfill, 5887 South Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, Colorado 80526. 5. Contractor will, on an agreed upon frequency/schedule, pick up and transport mattresses and box springs collected to the recycling center. 5.1. Approximately 200 to 300 mattresses are collected each week. 5.2. Frequency will be dependent on how quickly the shipping container is filled. 5.3. Inclement weather conditions may adversely impact frequency. 5.4. The landfill requires a bi-weekly pick up. 5.4.1. Mattress volumes are greatest on Saturdays. 6. The Contractor will provide an empty trailer to be swapped with the full trailer at time of pick up. 7. The Contractor must have all required Colorado Department of Transportation permits and licensing. Contractor will provide proof of this with their proposal submittal. Invoices/Payment 8.
