The County, by and through OCPD, on behalf of OCTC, seeks to engage a qualified consultant or consulting firm ("Consultant") to assist OCPD staff, who are working on behalf of the OCTC, with updating the Current LRTP to the year 2050 (collectively, the "Updated LRTP"). The Updated LRTP must meet the minimum requirements, and be prepared in the manner, set forth in 49 U.S.C 5303. The Updated LRTP must be compliant with the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (Public Law 112-141) ("MAP-21") and the subsequent FAST Act, BIL, and all applicable Federal and State laws, rules, regulations, and guidance. It is anticipated that the Updated LRTP will be developed on a chapter basis, with multiple chapters under development simultaneously. Data gathering is likely to represent a substantial effort as figures and graphics are outlined and formed into the Updated LRTP. The tasks to complete an Updated LRTP are collectively referred to as the "Project".
