All bids rejected by owner PROJECT DESCRIPTION: IOWA HIGHWAY 163 SIGNAL ENHANCEMENTS PROJECT General Nature of the Public Improvement. The work includes all materials, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to complete the improvements. The proposed project includes installation of a total of 20 flashing yellow arrow (FYA) left turn heads at seven intersections with associated traffic signs, cables, and cabinet modifications. It includes a total of five new traffic signal mast arm poles at two of the seven intersections. Additionally, it includes installation of battery back-up systems at 11 intersections. At said hearing, the City Council will consider the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for said project, the same now being on file in the Office of the City Manager at Pleasant Hill City Hall, reference to which is made for a more detailed and complete description of the proposed improvements, and at said time and place the said Council will also receive and consider any comments/objections to said plans, specifications and form of contract or to the estimated cost of said improvements made by any interested party. Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City of Pleasant Hill, Iowa on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications, and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement at its meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 in said Council Chambers of the City Hall, 5160 Maple Dr. Suite A, Pleasant Hill, Iowa 50327 for the Iowa Highway 163 Signal Enhancements Project
