Site work and paving for a road / highway in Saugus, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of May 15, 2023, project was awarded to D & R General Contracting, awarded amount is $1,694,021.50.** Contractor agrees to furnish all: machinery, tools, equipment, facilities, plant, labor, supervision, and materials necessary to complete all work for paving streets throughout the Town of Saugus. Prior to any pavement, the entire surface to be paved shall be cleared of dirt, leaves, vegetation, and/or other foreign matter using power sweepers. The class of work for this bid is pavement surfacing. The work under this contract consists of modifications of paving, spreading/finishing shall be done, machine spreading/hand spreading, recycling of existing pavement, milling shall consist of removing concrete, catch basis and manholes shall be constructed of concrete block masonry or precast concrete and adjusting structures and water gates. Contractor agrees to furnish all machinery, tools, equipment, facilities, plant, labor, supervision, materials necessary to complete all work for paving streets throughout the Town of Saugus. Prior to any application of pavement, the entire surface to be paved shall be cleared of dirt, leaves, vegetation, and/or foreign matter, using power sweepers. The project value of this project is $553,800.00.
