Renovation of a mixed-use development in Barnwell, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following (Numbered sequence is not necessarily indicative of workflow) 1. General a. Contractor is to verify that all roof drains, roof gutters, and downspouts are free of debris and free flowing prior to the start of work and at the end of the project. Owner and Consultant are to be notified of any drainage-related issues. 2. Barnwell Primary School Roof Replacement and Repair: a. Execute miscellaneous life extending repairs throughout campus. b. Fully adhere fleeceback PVC over 2007 era roofs (see drawing). Provide 20 year labor and material warranty. 3. Barnwell Primary School Gym Roof Replacement: a. Remove existing asphalt shingles. b. Remove existing wood decking. Fasten 3/4 plywood to existing rafters. c. Install synthetic underlayment over wood deck. d. Install new eave metal. e. Install premium asphalt shingles. f. Install new side wall flashings. g. Install new gutters and downspouts. g. Waterproof side walls. i. Spot repoint exterior brick. Replace shingle roof at the Barnwell Primary Gym, Recover modified bitumen roofs at Barnwell Primary and Guinyard Butler Middle School. Perform miscellaneous repairs at the Primary, Elementary, and Middle School. Construction Cost Range: 500-700K *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
