Reference Number 00003458074 Source ID SCRIBE The Capital Regional District (CRD) undertakes a wide variety of projects and activities that involve ground disturbance that require Archaeological and/or Heritage Services as stipulated by under the Heritage Conservation Act (HCA). The CRD is requesting Proposals from qualified professional archaeological Vendors to provide Archaeological and/or Heritage Services on an as-and-when required standing offer basis, for up to 36 months including the application for and administering of a Multi-Assessment Heritage Inspection Permit (MAP), pursuant to Section 12.2 of the HCA. The MAP will authorise multiple individual assessments to occur within the CRD, subject to First Nations having an opportunity to comment on the initial application scope and methods as well as each proposed assessment within their territory. This permitting mechanism will support CRD operations and contributes to respectful heritage management. This is a pre-qualification for placement on a standing offer list. It is not a Tender. A follow up contract may result to those Vendors who are awarded work under this standing offer. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
