The City reserves the right to require complete copies of all required insurance policies at any time Consultant represents and warrants to City that Consultant and its employees, agents, and any subcontractors have all licenses, permits, qualifications, and approvals of whatsoever nature that are legally required to practice their respective professions Preparing plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for the installation of new traffic signal systems, highway lighting systems, traffic signing & striping, bicycle facilities, pedestrian facilities or street improvements Design coordination with other public agencies and utilities Preparing traffic control plans and construction staging plans Developing and presenting design alternatives to the community, gathering public opinion, considering public sentiment in the context of safety, feasibility, and all applicable guidelines, policies and law, and recommending a preferred alternative with a welldeveloped justification. The City of San Leandro is seeking qualifications from experienced transportation engineering consulting firms to enter into an Agreement for Consulting Services to provide transportation engineering services on various projects. Services may include planning, design, CAD drafting, integration, implementation and procurement of software programs for traffic signals and intelligent transportation systems; responsive and adaptive signal systems; signal timing and coordination; pedestrian and bicycle facilities; transit related improvements; impact analysis and modeling; data collection and analysis; traffic calming; streets and intersection improvements; parking, construction support; systems integration; transportation planning; grant application; community outreach; and design and analytical software programs in Transportation Engineering. Project definition will take place at time of project assignment The amount of such penalty shall be determined by the Labor Commissioner and shall be based on consideration of the mistake, inadvertence, or neglect of the Consultant or subcontractor in failing to pay the correct rate of prevailing wages, or the previous record of the Consultant or subcontractor in meeting applicable prevailing wage obligations, or the willful failure by the Consultant or subcontractor to pay the correct rates of prevailing wages
