Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Teterboro, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The offerors shall review carefully entire bidding documents for the detailed scope of work. Civil 1. Locate, identify, protect, and maintain all underground utilities not scheduled for replacement and/or demolition. The Contractor is responsible to repair and replace damaged items with the Contractor's own expense if not coordinated in advance. To avoid breaking the existing underground utilities at the parking lots, refer to utility survey of the Work Areas as indicated. (Parking Lots and Driveways): a. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to confirm location and delineating existing underground utilities lines and any existing drainpipes before proceeding the demolition. Refer to Survey and Civil Drawings. b. Contractor shall comply with the applicable requirements of standards for electronic locating equipment and all other applicable Federal State and local requirements. c. Before commencing any construction activities, exclusive of clearing and grubbing, the Contractor shall locate and delineate all existing utilities on the pavement. 2. Complete full depth removal and reconstruction of existing pavement. Existing pavements to be removed to their subgrade level. This work shall include preparation of subgrade and all test applicable. 3. Complete removal and reconstruction of existing curbs and exterior concrete structures. This work shall include preparation of subgrade and all tests applicable. 4. Remove and replace sections of concrete sidewalks. This work shall include the preparation of subgrade and all tests applicable. 5. Remove and replace and/or repair existing chain link perimeter fence and/or gate. 6. Install new thermoplastic reflectorized pavement markings for parking stalls, ADA parking, loading docks, trailer stalls, stall/dock numbering (to be coordinated with USPS Facility Manager) and directional traffic flow arrows. 7. Install new and/or salvaged exterior signs. 8. Reinstall salvage exterior employee amenities (i.e., bus shelter, gondola, park benches, etc.) 9. Installation of new bollards. 10. Restore planted areas impacted by construction and/or by the GC's operations. 11. Provide dumpster plate and related work were indicated in the Contract Document. USPS TETERBORO P & DC 11/09/2022 SUMMARY OF WORK - 2 PARKING LOT REPAVING REVISION - 0 Structural 1. Remove the steel stair and install a concrete stair in the loading dock entrance facing to the truck parking lot. Provide sign to indicate the temporary access during the stair construction. 2. Reconstruct the ramp at bay #43. 3. Replace or install the new railing on the stair and ramp. 4. Repair cracks in the existing concrete apron. Electrical 1. Relocate exterior lighting assemblies; re-energize, protect, and maintain post relocation. 2. Relocate existing lighting pole and pole-mounted camera to new location shown. Provide new concrete base. Provide the outlet and bollard for the relocated lighting pole. Extend existing branch circuit to new light pole location. 3. Disconnect existing card reader and camera. Protect existing cabling. Re-Install card reader and camera after paving work. 4. Provide new parking gate after demolition. Disconnect existing power, protect feeders and reconnect to new gate. 5. Provide the individual surge protection at both ends of all power and low voltage controls conductors serving the parking gate. 6. Existing panel and outlets to remain. Protect in place.
