Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.

The project is located at two locations in the Township. Initially, it will be at the North Hempfield Township Volunteer Fire Department along Route 66 and then it will be at Hempfield Park approximately 1 mile away in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The Work to be done under the Contract, as shown on the Plans and Specifications, shall include the furnishing and complete installation of all Materials and any other necessary Work required for proper completion, operation and use of the facilities. All the equipment, Materials and labor that may be necessary to complete the Work and place it in satisfactory operation, implied or intended in the Plans and Specifications, shall be furnished and/or installed by Contractor without extra cost to the Owner. The work will consist of the Contractor furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the construction of a vehicle port/salt storage facility. A certified check payable to the Hempfield Township Supervisors, or a bid bond executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company, approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a Contract if given the award. No Bid Bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any applicable municipal ordinances. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). Notice is hereby given that the Contractors are subject to provisions of the PA Prevailing Wage Act. Hempfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening.
