Site work and paving for a civil project in Augusta, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This Project includes, but is not limited to, the following items of work: traffic control, RR track monitoring, erosion control, 8" PVC watermain, jack & bore 18" steel casing, aggregate base, hot mix asphalt, and turf restoration. This project replaces an existing 6" watermain crossing of the Union Pacific Railroad at Pease Street by installation of an 18" steel casing with 8" PVC watermain carrier pipe. New 8" PVC watermain will extend south to connect with an existing 8" watermain at Railway Ave. and north to an existing 6" watermain just south of Railway Street. The Pease Street Railroad crossing will be closed to the public during the construction work until after asphalt resurfacing on each side of the tracks. 100 lin. ft. Jack & Bore 18" Steel Casing 110 lin. ft. 8" PVC Watermain (Trenchless) 100 lin. ft. 8" PVC Watermain (Trenched) LS Track Monitoring 160 tons Aggregate Base 75 tons HMA.
