Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Universal City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Kitty Hawk Emergency access service road and parking lot project shall consist of an extension to Kitty Hawk Rd in Universal City, Texas. The Project will include paving, drainage and erosion control construction. This project is an approximately 2,775 LF Emergency access road to connect Kitty Hawk Rd to FM 1518. This Project also includes culverts and a small parking lot. Universal City reserves the right to reject any bids and to waive all informalities and irregularities and to select the bid deemed in the best interest of the city. The Notice to Proceed will be issued at a Pre-Construction Meeting with the selected contractor after the bid is awarded during the May City Council Meeting. Contractor will have 7 days to begin providing material submittals and 30 days to begin work from the Notice to Proceed with a schedule of 125 workdays for Final Completion. The amount of said Bid Bond will be forfeited to the owner and the bank or surety shall be liable to the OWNER for the amount in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a contract or furnish bonds as hereafter required within ten (10) days after the date of notice award. Bids must be submitted in the bid form furnished. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after the above scheduled closing time set for receipt of bids. Written Questions shall be submitted 2:00 PM (CST) April 11, 2023. Answers to any questions will be posted before 2:00 PM (CST) April 12, 2023.
