The Project includes the complete installation of necessary infrastructure including new electrical, sanitary sewer, and water. Site preparation for new welding village includes demolition of existing asphalt and concrete as well as placing new asphalt and concrete per the contract documents. Scope includes supplying and installing Pre-Approved (PA) metal canopy and hook up for temporary office/classroom facilities. The scope also includes supplying and installing perimeter fencing. The engineers estimate for this project is $1,600,000.00.This amount includes all costs including planning, construction, supervision, management, compliance with all applicable codes and agency requirements, and any and all items required for the completion of the Project per the Contract Documents. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Sierra Joint Community College District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, including any bid alternates, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Work.
