Provide Classic Heavy Mast Arm Pole standards (rotatable) as specified in the Plan for supporting mast arm mounted and pole mounted vehicle and pedestrian signal heads, and supporting luminaires, as part of a traffic control signal system. The City of Corcoran and the City of Medina (City) authorized this scope of service. In order to assist the design team in preparing plans and specifications, we have developed recommendations for designing pavements. As such, we have completed a subsurface exploration program and prepared a geotechnical report for the referenced site. This stated purpose was a significant factor in determining the scope and level of service provided. Should the purpose of the report change the report immediately ceases to be valid and use of it without WSB's prior review and written authorization should be at the user's sole risk. 1. Clearing underground utilities utilizing Gopher State One Call. 2. Mobilization / demobilization of a truck mounted drill rig. 3. Drilling 17 standard penetration borings to 10 foot depths. 4. Sealing the borings per Minnesota Department of Health procedures. 5. Perform soil classification and analysis. 6. Review of available project information and geologic data. 7. Providing this geotechnical report containing: a. Summary of our findings. b. Discussion of subsurface soil and groundwater conditions and how they may affect the proposed pavements and utilities. c. Estimated R-value of the soils. d. Recommended pavement section for the roadway and trails. e. A discussion of soils for use as structural fill and site fill.
