As of 5/9/23, all bids rejected. A timeline for the rebid has not yet been established. The scope of Work contemplated for the above-named Project includes removal of existing interior and exterior water storage tank coatings, completion of tank repairs/improvements, application of exterior and interior tank coatings, testing, disinfection, and cleanup as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within two Hundred Fifty-Two (252) calendar days Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through the Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority. By virtue of Executive Order #34 (1976), vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded from participating on this Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Contract Documents and Plans which include all of the following: (i) N.J.A.C. 17:27; (ii) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; (iii) Business Registrations (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); (iv) Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq.); (v) Public Work Contractor Registration (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48); and (vi) Affirmative Action Requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, et seq.); and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project. Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law. Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law.
